What material should I choose to ensure strong carton sealing?
For standard cardboard boxes, BOPP (polypropylene) tape—transparent or colored—is usually sufficient: high tensile strength and moisture resistance.
If your warehouse is cold or dusty, consider hot-melt (rubber-based) BOPP tape, which has higher initial tack and won’t lose adhesion in low temperatures.
For very heavy or irregular loads, cloth-reinforced (fiber) tape provides extra strength and tear resistance.
Do I need UV-resistant or cold-temperature tape for outdoor or warehouse use?
If you need UV stability (sunlight exposure) and fading resistance, choose PVC tape or BOPP tape with UV stabilizers.
For cold storage (down to 0 °C or below), select a cold-temperature BOPP tape, formulated to maintain adhesion in low temperatures.
My boxes are dusty and sometimes damp—won’t the tape fall off?
In dusty conditions, hot-melt adhesive tape is recommended because its strong initial tack holds better on rough or dusty surfaces.
If moisture is an issue, use a water-resistant BOPP tape with a specially formulated backing that maintains grip even when humid.
I want to print our logo and contact info—will it come out blurry?
Flexographic printing produces crisp, solid-color logos at a lower cost.
Digital (full-color) printing handles gradients, photos, and complex designs; ideal for shorter runs.
Submit artwork as 300 DPI CMYK raster or vector (AI/EPS/PDF) and keep all critical elements at least 2 mm from the tape’s edge to avoid blurring or clipping.
What should I know when submitting artwork?
File format: Prefer AI/EPS/PDF vectors for spot-color printing; use PNG/JPEG/TIFF at 300 DPI for digital full-color.
Color mode: Spot-color jobs use Pantone values; digital printing requires CMYK.
Layout: Your artwork width must match tape width, with designs repeating horizontally; no bleed is needed. Keep important text/logos at least 2 mm from the edge.
Are there eco-friendly or recyclable tape options?
Paper (Kraft) tape: Made from FSC‐certified paper with water‐based adhesive; fully recyclable or compostable.
